Dear GATE aspirants,

GATE exam 2020 will be conducted by IIT Delhi. The exam will be held on February 1, 2, 8, & 9 for admission to ME, MTech, MSc and PhD courses offered at premium engineering institutes including IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. GATE 2020 exam will be held for 25 papers. This year, biomedical engineering will be added as a new stream to the already existing 24 GATE paper. Last year, statistics was the new entrant making the count to 24.

Few important changes and updates in GATE 2020 are as follows:

• Last year, IITs added Statistics (ST) to GATE paper. However, this year, subject papers have been increased to 25 from 24 and the new addition is Biomedical Engineering (BM).
• There are 6 international test centres for GATE 2020, in Dubai, Addis Ababa, Colombo, Dhaka, Kathmandu, and Singapore.
